For lack of a better place to report it (barely profession related) i report it here. Ok I already /bugged this but i wanna make sure its not just me or something. I'll set this bug report up so its more like a report that way its hopefully easier to read.

Bug: Weapon, Droid, Generic Crafting Tool (WDGCT) is being counted as any specific crafting tool when it comes to the ability to make objects (not for experimentation).

Explanation: First of all I want to state that this effects me on ALL of my WDGCT's, not just ones made a while ago, and not just one's I have made recently (just within the past few days even). Let me take a very basic example. On Gorath I am an Armorsmith. There are 3 types of boots I can make at this time: Bone, Armorweave and Tantel. As stated on the draft schematic, Bone requires a Generic Crafting tool (Generic or Armor/Clothing basically), Armorweave requires a specific crafting tool (Armor/Clothing Crafting Tool) and Tantel requires a specific crafting tool with the associated crafting station (Armor/Clothing Crafting Tool with an Armor/Clothing Crafting station, but keep the word associated in mind as it comes up later).

Right now, I can obviously do it as I just noted (using the corresponding crafting tools) HOWEVER, I can also take any of my WDGCT's and make Bone Boots (under the category Armor which shouldn't even be visible on a WDGCT). I can also make Armorweave Boots (with nothing else nearby, neither crafting station nor droids) from that same WDGCT. And finally, strangest of all, I can make Tantel Boots if I am near a WDG CRAFTING STATION! Yes this is why i put emphasis on associated as it seems this bug takes advantage of the association between a WDGCT and a WDG crafting stationrather than use an Armor Crafting Station.

Ironically, when I use the WDG crafting station to build those Tantel Boots, I cannot experiment (no button shows) but frankly this is still quite a bug. And this is not strictly related to Armor crafting or Armorsmithing. I can build the basic Artisan structures (such as basic extractors)with my WDGCT, as well as specialized clothing (such as the Backpack) and any foodstuffs that supposedly require a Specialized Crafting tool. Apparently my character has wonder WDGCTs! No seriously, as i said before, all of the WDGCT's i use have this strange ability. I believe its either something wrong with my character or something globally wrong that no one has yet to notice. I would apreciate some second opinions (and testers) so I would know which it is.

Again, it applies to all WDGCT's that I own and have/will make.

Pikeman : The only class that couldn't hit the ground if they dropped their weapon.
Pikeman : Doing massive damage; to the air surrounding our target.
Pikeman : You're dead meat, unless you happen to be standing in front of us.
Pikeman : Because the devs were one profession short.
DEVs : Pikeman? Thats a class?

Yep, it showed up in Oct's monthly patch. And I'm not sure you're right about the experimentation. I was able to experiment on some personal harvesters (wanted to get some 4 K/H ones) while standing next to a WDG station. Granted, a structural station was next to the WDG one, maybe I was inside its radius.

BTW it was Chitin Boots that I was referring to, not Tantel. And if this was stated as a bug in October how come its not listed in our current list of bugs right now? I believe it should definitely be on there as its very confusing/annoying.
