How much does it cost to hire a surveyor to find a certain resource for you?

Probably not a very exact science, mainly depends on the person you are paying, but if I were hiring out my services:

50%-70% of common: travel expenses + 5k

70%+ of common: travel expenses+ 8k

50%-70% of uncommon, but not rare: I'd say would start at 10k-20k depending on planet

All things considered, I'd think a better rule of thumb for me would be, missions on the easiest artisan setting for me I can make 3600 credits every 10 minutes. If it takes me 3 hours to find a resource, you're going to be paying 5k credits for 20 minutes of my time for easy planets, 10k per 20 minutes on hard planets, 50k per 10 minutes on suicide planets

the 3600 every 10 minutes is taking into consideration lag, rollbacks, and whatever averaged out along an hour.

I get payed about 30k-50k for locating a specific resource for a client. 30k for 70%-79%, 40k for 80%-89% and 50k for 90%-100%. This is the going rate on Bria, although I have seen people paying 100k+. I look for a flat area with enough space for 20-25 harvesters. The whole process can take 4 hours or so, I dont stop surveying at the fist 70% spot, I search the whole planet and email the waypoints to my client.
