I have one fusion with a rate of 13, and another one with a rate of 24. I can pull 40k of radioactives a day with those two. They are not cheap (anywhere from 75k-125k depending on server) but they are worth it.

They all power any harvester or factory. However, the Potential Energy of a power supply determines how many power units you get per unit of resource. For 500 and below, it's 1-for-1 (deposit one unit of power, one unit of the resource is removed from your inventory). At around 750 I think it hits 2-for-1 (deposit two units of power, one unit is removed from your inventory). I think it caps out at 4-for-1 at around 950 PE.

Wind tends to have lower PE than solar, which tends to have lower PE than radioactive. Plus, all power generators (wind, solar, ion fusion) cost the same 60 credits per hour to run, but the fusion can have an extraction rate up to 14 units/minutes.

So from a cost standpoint, getting a fusion generator is the best route to go. The harvester extracts more power than solar or wind, and tends to have better Potential Energy. Of course, they go for about around 80-100k to purchase, so you may have to stick to the lower generators until you make some cash.

If you're just purchasing energy off the bazaar or from a resource vendor, look for the highest PE you can get.

I just ran out of a 920 PE radioactive from my fusion on Bria last week. I was getting almost a 2 to 1 conversion on the readioactive. IE I pulled 18. something k from my Fusion and ended up with 34.something kto put in my harvesters.

The only downside to fusions is that radioactive is not always available on every server. You can either own some solars to handle these time gaps or simply stockpile excess radioactive while it is available.
