Woo Hoo just mastered artisan, right before server shutdown too.

i then think hmmm, ill have a quick shufty on the artisan forums and check out the schematics for the vehicles and lo n behold u need to be master to craft them......hahaha its like ive struck gold

there was me thinking it was pointless to go for master cos vehicles can be built at engeneering 4.

Its a good change i think, leaving it at engeneering 4 would only leave it open for anyone to dabble and craft it.

anyway - im a happy bunny heh

Well ya now all you need is like 200 to 1 million steel and 100 to 500k copper and allumnum then you could actually make enough to make a decent retirement on the first day they come out lol...

Personally I'm sitting on 300k steel and counting and 150k allumnum.. still no where near enough MORE MORE I NEED MORE!!!...

But I must say being artisan 4334 and only having 40 apprentice points I am not a happy bunny. Ok, so I'm banging on like a few other non-artisan masters with Eng4, but I wanna bike! <sniff - blubs a little>. I've landed a 996sr steel source and have sampled over 7.5K. Great I think, only need 1k and a little non-ferrous, but no, the devs up the resouce by x10. Mabey for a good reason, but man did I swear. Still, I will continue to sample till I get my 12K - 4.5k, then get the training xp, then make 1 (hoping it doesn't fail) Or... not bother, find someone to make it with my resouce... or swap resource for the bike... or steal one... orsell my own gran for 1!

Is there a reason that you can't place a personal harvester on a spot for a few days?

A) You can make you own

B) Radioactive energy is fairly cheap

C) Instead of sitting there sampling you could try to make something useful to sell (like personal harvesters with a BER of 4) so you can have credits to buy B)

Thanks for the input (sry to take over your threa Junsa). I can make personal harvesters but there is no point putting it on the waypoint as the resource no longer exists on my planet. It's been 'moved' by the dev's. Deep joy. Means I'm 2.5k short of a bike. I just really wanted to try 1 out not sell them as I don't have the time to invest in that. To me Artisan is not a business, just a way to become self sufficient. I craft when I sample as well. Multitasking is my middle name 2-3 days an I'll have 4444 (and only 40 training points!)

I've dropped 2 or 3 wind generators and I'll keep the steel etc just in case I get lucky. Mabey if I offer it and cash for transport?

A friend of mine sampled some Radioactive materials without a havester. Nearly killed himself. He limped into town with 80% black HAM bars!
