Thread: Crafting Assistant -- Spreadsheet
This is a spreadsheet designed to hold your resource stats, and allow you to quickly test the maximum experimentation percentage of your product, without actually doing the combine. This lets you know which resources are actually best for your product(especially when it depends on multiple stats)
For previous discussion on this file, see this thread:
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=architect&message.id=36776
To find this file, visit this site:
loserwan.topcities.com (It's a throw-away site)
As always, be sure to practice good net hygiene, and scan any files you download.(I only have the one listed there) It was clean when it left my system... but you can never tell about the sites that host them.
Also, let me know if there are any bugs or issues.
I'm not sure I'll be making updates... but that depends entirely on if it's broken or not.

Nope... no other location to get this file(that I'm aware of)...
Unless of course you hack into my computer.
One suggestion for your website: Zip the files unless you have unlimited bandwidth
This is a second request for the password used with the crafting assistant. Some of the individual cells and pages are protected and without the password we can't change them.
Great spreadsheet thanks for sharing it with the group! ![]()

Could we get the password you locked the sheets with?
Short answer: No.
Long answer: It's designed like that on purpose so you can't accidentally change things that are required to be static. Things like the lookup command actually require the formula to know that "Overall Quality" is somewhere in the list of cells, and it simply won't understand what OQ is.
This same issue goes for a lot of other areas too. In fact, MOST of the actual data and formulas are hidden.
GOOD NEWS: Well, I do have some good news.
I've made a newer version... Crafting Assistant version 1.2a
You can find it at either of these two sites:
www.geocities.com/loserwan (bandwidth calculated hourly)
or
loserwan.topcities.com (bandwidth calculated daily)
So, if one is down, try the other.
In any case, this new version takes a good stab at predicting the outcome of HARVESTERS.
Let me know how well it works.
If you want to protect the sheet to protect the work, code, formulas, and time that you've invested in it, I respect that. I know how much time a nice spreadsheet can be to make and keep up to date. I would just like to respectfully ask that you reconsider keeping the spreadsheet locked. I would love to take a look at how you manage and deal with all the forumlas and code that are needed for such a cool worksheet.
I would like to second this request for a password. I have been working on a pretty similar spreadsheet. My goal is to use the Excel Solver function to be able to sort through and optimize your resources to fit the schematic you are using based on your current resources. I am pretty close to making it work and would love to see some of the hidden things you have in there.
So, pretty please, give the passwords to a couple of fellow excel geeks.
Thanks.
Excel spreadsheet passwords are easily cracked. Send me an IM and I will send you the pass.
Cheers!
