Thread: What is experimental efficiency?

It seems that you can experiment with this on just about every item. What does it do? I can't tell the difference on surveying tools or fireworks. I noticed that it increases the tool effectiveness of crafting tools. I have made several with tool effectiveness of over 12. What does that mean? The tool has more successful experiments?

Thanks

on tools higher ratings leads to less chance of critical fails.

yeah, basically the higher your experimental efficiency, the more chance you will have of achieving that Amazing success experiment that we are all after.

If you are new to the crafting system, check out this guide.

Each item usually has a different attribute that goes up as you experiment on effectiveness, quality, etc. On stims, effectiveness will get them to heal more damage, on foods iirc itll get their main attribute power higher (like better accuracy when eating crispics). As stated above, higher rated toolsshould give you better successes. Each item usually has the attribute that is raised in a sub-listing while you craft and on the schematic description in your datapad.
