Hi all,

Tell me if there is any hope that those changes will be corrected?

With the past 2 months with sony............lemme think ..................umm no. What do they care. As long as someone pays for this farce, they will do whatever they want. To bad a real company like Turbine or Sierra didn't make this game

I hope a new company does it right on another star wars game.

Just cancel. You can always come back with your character and all its resourcesintact later on if they fix this B.S. If enough people cancel they may actually fix it faster.

And yes, I've read the posts about supposed "strategies" for taking the bounties out. What if I hate carbines? I like pistols. And 20% success rate is not good enough when you spend 1 hour tracking the bounty that pays 9K having spent 7k on tickets and droids. <SHRUG>

I like my artisan skills a lot: 4-3-0-4. I can drop them to 4-3-0-0 and still be happy. However, I really need ALL the experimentation points I get from 4-3. I have a human character and I think I get 9-10 total experimentation points (don't remember). It is enough to get to 98% experimental effectives on the power-ups I build. If I lose a point I will not be able to max out EE on the power-ups and if I can't make nearly the best, I don't want to do it. (I guess I am a somewhat perfectionistic artisan)

Is there any way for me to increase the effectiveness of each experimentation point or any way to get an extra point from skill enhancers or any other means? I know I am grabbing at straws but I want to know if there is a solution. I think I have enough skill points in my final character goal to squeeze 3-3-0-0 artisan.

P.S. I am primarily a combat type but crafting and resource gathering are an interesting diversion. I could give up Novice medic but I am very dependent on stim-packs. My artisan skills are the most disposable but I still value them.

I was just reading a thread in the Starsider forum about high quality crafting tools for sale. Would such a tool increase the effectiveness of each experimentation point thus reducing the number of points I would need to hit the 98% EE?

I have been hearing that the new jedi quests are going to be much harder than the current proffession mastering system so i was wondering from you current jedi if there is any hope for me to make jedi before they do the revamp. I am commando 2/2/4/2, medic 2/1/1/2, scout 4/0/4/2, master marksman, creature handler nocive, and rifle man 1/0/0/0(pretty pathetic except for the commando if i do say so myself). If you guys think there is any hope for me to make jedi before the revamp please give me some grinding tips.

U have approximately 12 weeks till publish 10, so if u work hard grinding, have money (if u wanna grind elite craft quick, u'll need a lot of money), and u are lucky and aren't one of the 32 club u can do it. I have 7 masters and yesterday started my first holo (TKA), today I'll hit master, I hope to open the slot befores the publish, anyway if I u don't hit it, u'll get new system quest credits counting the professions u mastered.

Good luck

Have you done any holocron professions yet? If not then you'd best get some Holocrons and start grinding those quick, im working on my silent profession at the moment and am probably going to be hard pushed to unlock before publish 10 so if you dont start those soon you probably wont make it.

If you have done all your holocorns and are working on your silent then theres a reasonable chance you can unlock just gotta get lucky.

Good luck

I havent done any holocrons yetandI cant pay for any because Iam broke (i just bought a full set of tusken clothing for a friend's birthday). I was planning to master commando then drop everything but the flame skills, master medic and doctor, drop those and then master scout and ranger, drop ranger, master bounty hunter(might need to drop flame at this point if not sooner), then i will master the master creature handler, rifleman, pistoleer, and carbineer before starting the artisan proffessions. This is what i hope to acomplish anyway.

TBH id decide what your playing for if its fun then forget jedi for the mo till the new system kicks in (cos grinding is annoying and boring), if you really want to grind then finish the professions your close to mastering and then work of all the linked ones from the same skill tree, e.g. since your marksman all ready finish rifleman then do pistol etc then drop and work on a branch of one of the other starting professions. This will mean dropping alot of the skills you currently have to free up sp but its the only way to go if you want to grind.

Holocrons are nice pointers but i wouldnt worry about them too much, most people seem to have to grind all 32 profs anyway to unlock so may as well just start at the beginning and work from there.

That's exactly what i was thinking about the holocrons glad someone agree's . I think instead of mastering riflemanI will master creature handler sinceI already have some strong pets thatI bought just need to increase my creature handler skills to tame them. Thanks for all the tips and the luck (I'll need it)
