I posted this in the Core Systems forum, but I guess not many people read it, for it has only had one post. So I will repost my idea here, the profession for which it has the most relevance to. If you guys like it, I'll post it to other crafting forums, or at least a link. Let me know what you think!

The lot manager, an addition to the character sheet to simply the lives of people like me with bad memories.
A simple line by line account of all the buildings you own as follows:
Name | Planet | x,y | maintenance | power | on/off status | hopper full status %
I don't know if the devs want us to have such easy acces to this info from anywhere in the game, but if they don't mind, I believe this would make the game much more user friendly. Shuttle times and checking harvesters are not fun things.

I would like this as I am one who has a lot of WPs in my datapad and am always afraid I am going to delete a WP of my structure. I did once and had to wait till I got the decay e-mail which gave you coords to it, but I had to wait for a couple of weeks as I had just dropped about 10k into it.
I would say that it should be in the datapad and have a "LOT" tab in which you don't get a WP but it is similar to your POI tab where you can't delete them without taking them down.

The devs had an excuse for this, and the inability to control harvies from the datapad. They said the harvesters are not loaded into the game world unless you're near them. So there would be no way to control from the datapad.
I use an excel spreadsheet to track my harvesters, and just make sure to pay a visit after five days, then every 2 days thereafter. The new survey droids will allow me to throw a full 10 days into my harvs and just periodically check to see if the resource has pinched out.

How about a driod that goes and reports those things, I'd actually use that a driod that did that.

I thought there might be a reason for it but I couldn't think what it might be. I guess if the system added the locations when you placed them, then you were able to send a seeker out to check the status of all your harvesters at once, that would be fine.
