I have been making powerups for about two weeks now. I've noticed some people can get 3-4 stats on there melee or weapon powerups. How do I do this? So far I can only max out two stats and can never hit a third. Do I need artisan experimentation points for this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's an ancient master artisan secret, but I'll tell you anyway:
The secret is:
Experiment on only one box at a time. This increases your chance of getting another mod. You will not always get more than two, but this is how you do it. Obviously 12 pt crafters have an edge in making PuPs due to failure rates but FS skill boxes will help.

Thanks for the help guys. I shall now go and experiment one point at a time.

All u need is master artisan, at least 975 oq resources and ur good to go. (experiment 1 box at a time). Ull get lots of 3 and 4 stat powerups but itll take a while to get ones that are worth it.
But once u do make that Mind:32+ Max:16+ Min:8+ Speed:6+ Melee powerup.. ull be cranking in the dough.
I seem to be selling mine for 4.5k a crate
.... thats like selling ur resources for 45 cpu...
Hope this helps ya!

Just like what stats appear on a powerup, getting more than 2 is a random thing. It is true by experimenting one box at a time, you increase your chances of that random aligning of planets that gives more than 2 stats on a powerup.
Unless you are very lucky, be prepared to make many attempts trying to get the stats you want on a powerup. When you do, make sure to create a 1,000 use schematic!

On the ranged powerup side, a big seller for me is the Max Damage/Min Damage combo. People eat those up at 3k per crate. I've seen them selling for up to 5k/crate so my prices might be a bit low, but they sell fast and it's a great income source.

Hmmm. Guess it's time to invest in an equipment factory.
3-5k per crate sounds nice, and the resource requirementsare a lot less onerous than the swoops I'm making now for regular income.

actually the weird thing is that there is demand for crates of vehicles, 10 each...if you can come up with the resources. i get asked about that one alot
so yes definitely, get a factory and sell crates ofpups and swoops and roll in the money

I had to stop selling crates of swoops. People were buying them faster than I could produce them.

Vehicles are getting chewed up by Dathomir (Village and hunting loot).

Using the experimentation tip from this thread, I had great fun making 3-4 stat melee and ranged powerups last night (including a very awesome ranged Min-Max damage one). Thanks for the info!

I cant keep swoops on my vendor...they just fly off the shelves at 30k. I want to increase the price, but I dont like burning up resourcses that fast.
After my last uncrated swoop sold, I placed a 20 unit crate on for 1 mill (50k per). I think that scared them off, or no one has found it yet.
