I didn't see this in the sticky post...
I hear that the cap on artisan experimentation is +20 experimentation, which equals +2 or 12 experimentation total points I think (at least for non-humans).
Is there a cap on +artisan assembly? Is there any benefit to having over +20 artisan assembly?
Thanks in advance

The cap to any skill bonus from items is +25. You could get a +25 in experimentation but you only get to use +20. Experimentation is bonus/10 rounded down. I dont think assembly has that rounding.

The cap on artisan experimentation is +25. If you are anything other than human, however, the extra +5 does you no good, so you might as well just get +20 for the two extra experimentation points. If you're human however, you should get +25, because doing so, when combined with the human species bonus of +15 artisan experimentation, means you get 14 artisan experimentation points.

No matter what species you are, get +25 artisan assembly helps. The benefit is fewer critical failures when you are doing combines. In fact, I don't think I've ever had a crit fail on a combine with my +25 artisan assembly/experimentation SEA clothing on.

I have never seen one and definitely would like to get a few.
About as rare as any other experimentation skill tapes, but the demand is far less so they sell for a lot less. I refuse to pay any more than 100K per point for artisan experimenation. There are very few products where having those extra points actually helps you out.
