Thread: Will skill tapes increase the bonus of +14.94 crafting tools, considering I have done the follow

I am a Master Human artisan (+115 to artisan experimentation).
I had an "Amazing Sucess" 3 times on experimentation (maxing out)
I have copper with 998 CON.
The above yields crafting tools of +14.94.
Question is this...will + artisan experimentaion increase the final bonus of crafting tools?
If I add +10 artisan experimentation (for a total of +125) how much of a difference will that make?
If not, is there a skill or tool I can use to make my crafting tools +15.00 assuming I do not change my resource?

I believe you only need to adda +5 to get the last point (120) or +10 to go ahead and max out. The tool rating has an effect but it doesnt have anything to do with the experimentation points........iirc it has to do more with assembly or the rate of crit failures/great successes.
The 15.00 tools were made on the one-day crafting change and can not be modified by a tape, but your tool rating is high enough. I have had crit failures with a perfect condition 15.00 tool with +125 DE experimentation and assembly.

Answer: No, you can fully experiment on a crafting tool with 10 Experiment Points (and all great or amazing attempts) since there is only 1 line of experimentation. You will need to find 1000 Conductivity Metal to make tools rated at +15.

Answer: No, with that resource you will never get a better result than +14.94.
FYI, as a human artisan, you can max out at 140 artisan experimentation, and this will give you 14 Experiment Points. You will need to collect clothing attachments with bonuses to Artisan Experimentation, and you max out at +25. 115 + 25 = 140.
