I was under the impression that I could advance in two or more different professions but only allowed to hold the rank of master in one of them. Maybe I have misread the posts or I have failed to grasp the ideas presented.

Can I advance in different professions?

Can I hold the title of both novice marksman and novice artisian at the same time for instance?

Am I only able to advance in one but able to "unlearn" all my skills in that profession and pick up anther? And if that is true will I be unable to use the items I crafted in that former forgotten profession?

Any insight into these questions if only a yes and no would be of a great deal to me.
