Thread: Looking for an artisan to set up a partnership with...
Hi Eclipsers. Character's name is Nagarv (see handle), and I'm training to be a master combat medic and master doctor with some rifle training. Many of the abilities of a medic require medpacks in order to be effective for an extended period of time, as well as needed the crafting xp to make better medpacks. These, of course, require resources, and a lot of them when training the higher level skills. I'm sure you artisans are aware of this.
I would like to propose a partnership with one of you. To my knowledge, and correct me if I'm wrong, one of the fastest ways to get resources is to set up harvesters. However, harvesters require regular maintainance fees (I've heard any where from 1k per day up to 5k or 6k per day). That'srather expensive, at least in my experience.
The time I spend sampling resources could be better used to do high paying (term used loosely) fed ex missions to help my artisan partner maintain his harvesters. I could also spend time doing nothing but surveying in the wilderness for better resource pockets. In return, I would ask for access to some of the resources collected by the harvesters. Once my crafting training is complete,I won't need huge bulks of items, just enough to last for a little while, then I can make a little more. Services will also be traded. If I'm partnered up with a armorcrafter or weaponsmith, I don't think it would be too much to ask for set of armor (ok, maybe that's too much), or a nice rifle. In return, healing would most certainly be free, of course.
I am operating under the assumption that harvesters, when properly cared for, can yield large quantities of resources. If this isn't the case, then it might not be advantagousfor either of us to do this.
