I had time off so I played for three days straight barely moveing except for toilet breaks. I even ordered out as I didn't want to miss a thing. So obviously I wouldn't be suprised if I gained a few pounds. Anyway the point is I played my ass off. I spent countless time running around just picking up recources at my mines, and when I wasn't doing that I was trying to make money on delivery missions so I could pay my costs on my personal miners.I tried selling things in the bazaar but nothing would sell.I even started selling things for a few creds overthe price to post them to no avail. This running around crap is for the birds. It would take 30 minutes for me to go to my generator pick up power and deliver it to 4 mines. That gave me very little time go grind to level.I quite this crafting business Yesterday. I made my self some guns started killing and am slowly building myself some armor. Now I want to be a bounty hunter like half the people playing. Lets see how long that lasts.

Oh it would have been a lot easier if we had those speeders at start up!!!! Then again I probably wouldn't be able to afford one

Should have built them closer together. I went two klicks from town and finally found a decent spot for a wind generator and 3 mines. I took me awhile, but you can find areas with a mix of decent resouces levels. The run back to town takes about 10-15 minutes, but that is the worst of it.

Frankly I don't want to be a miner for much longer. The "farmers" life is not for me either. I'm just going to work up a nice bit o' credits over the next week or so, and then go traveling. See the sites.

Its all about planning around ingame dynamics. I've been playing the same amount of time but most of my stuff was plotted out to be near each other.. within 500m I have 10 buildings.. You don't always need 85% before you throw down a harvester.

As to the bazaar.. Right now you have something people don't need, and you expect it to sell.. You're in the very embryotic launch of a game and expect everyone to need what everyone else is producing? Economies of scale? So you adapt, since you have to make 300 of one item (if your a grinder) experimenting on those you will find a number of gems, gems that even shine in the bazaar.. (well i do..)

The love of this game is you have the freedom to back track and change direction, I think thats awesome. You also can employe many playstyles and still succeed. Just don't keep looking at your neighbor and wanting to be so leet at launch.

Also, I'd tell you to balance your crafter with some fighter.. as a Architect/Droid Engineer/Pistoleer I can party with the best of them and make a house to boot. Running destroy missions net you so much greater..

Don't think you can bearchitect/droid engineer/pistoleer ??? Unless its possilble to erase the skills needed to start the profession after you have it.

Artisan: Full Engineering, & Business I: Access Fees (need to rent)
Marksman: Full Pistol
Architect: Master
Droid: Master
Pistoleer: Master
Pts Remaining: 1

In the end you'll need to shore up some of your skills. skill management becomes very finicky if you are going to maximize your upper leveling. I think in the end it was a 2:3 ratio or you could go 3:2 (ie 2 lower profs/3 upper or vs versa).

As usual, its all a numbers game... that or you throw them out the window and just have fun..
