Could someone please tell me the benefits of getting to Master Artisan and finishing the Domestic Arts line in the artisan tree.

I am going to be a Weapons and Armorsmith as my first character (well currently that's the plan anyway). I did notice that if I drop Master Artisan and the domestic arts line, then I can become ALSO become a Master Merchant in addition to master weaponsmith + master armorsmith.

However if I become a Master Artisan I wont have enough points to master the merchant tree. Do you guys have any advice to what I should do? Which would you think is more important in the long run and why?

Its all up to you, in the end its what type of character that you want. But the great thing about this game is that you can't make a mistake in the fact that you could in theory master everything. So even if you go to Master Art I believe you can still go and work on merchiant

There are a few components you will want that only a master artisian can make, if you're going weaponsmithing/armorsmithing.

Beyond that, you have bragging rights... you can alway buy the components you need from someone who did go Master Artisian, if you don't want to spend the points.

Although one word of advice, if you're still working thru either the engineering or DomArts trees, and you want to make those items in any real quality... train in both, they share common experimentation points, so if you raise both, you'll have twice the points.
