I apologize if this question has already been asked, I wasn't able to find it on the boards. So with my disclaimer here goes...
Why can you only harvest some types of metals one day and different types the next on the same planet, same location? For example the other day I had four different types of steel I could survey, while yesterday I could only survey three.
