What is it I use for power? Is it buyable or collectable (harvesters)?

You will need a REALLY long extension cord. 
Ok, seriously, you need either wind power, solar power, or radioactive.
The resources listed as "fuel" won't power your harvesters.
Wind and solar come from their respective harvesters. Radioactive can be gathered either by mineral harvesters or fusion generators.
There are some merchants who specialize in power and if you don't want to gather it yourself you can buy from one of them or you can usually find some on the bazaar.

Lol, thanks for the info- what Resource Category do these come under in the Bazaar? Is it Energy (Radioactive)?

3 types of power for evrything in game. harvesterand factory, wind-.solar or radioactive
all can either be bought or harvested.
for wind you need wind generators- solar generators- radio can use either fusion ion generators or mineral harvester. fusion only need credits to run, while mineal uses both.
