Nice stuff I discovered at the bazaar


I crafted crates of powerups with the aim to sell them at the bazaar, 4k/crate.


See what happened: Crafted Scopes. In the schematic I used the name "Scope [Stat]/[Stat] " in order to better show the effect of the powerup. I put the crates for sale on the bazaar and they went in the "Misc" folder, not in the Powerup folder. So, basically, they are lost among hundreds and hundreds of "misc" stuffs and noone will buy them.


How are they working with the galactic search? How in private vendors?

Ummm...unless they've changed something, factory crates have always pulled under the Misc. category because one of the subcategories is Factory Crate. Only PUP singles pull to the Powerup tab. My bestexplanation forthat is when you examine a crafted item it says "Version of: X" thus all items created via a factory are a Version of Factory Crate no matter what they have inside them. I would assume the "Version of: X" is how the bazzar/vendor search seperates everything in the subcategories. Thus,assuming the listing protocol looks at 'Version of: X' first when you list it would automatically put everything in the proper place and then sort by 'Item Name' next. Unfortunately even if the 'Item Name' is powerup, moving the Factory Crate to the Power-up tab would deviate for the way it's set up because the Main Identifier says it is a Factory Crate and all Factory Crates are sorted together at the beginning.


Bah....i've probably lost you by now. Oh well. Simple explation is the Bazzar is database designed to sort items in a specifc manner based on a key identifier. Now 2 years later we see things that could be done more efficently in terms of listing and seperation, but that might require changes to the current system. And I for one have already seen what happens with some of the 'fixes' and it usually requires a lot of relisting on our parts.

1)Yes, you lost me 1/2 the way


2)I have 105 crates that is1050 powerups. Honestly I can't think to split them and sell them one by one.


3)my solution is this one: I'll craft few powerups with the name "Dude, have a look at the Misc folder for crates of pops". Price for this 20k so it will stay there until the 7 day time comes.If they correctly go in the powerup folder it's a sort of hidden advertisement of my main business in the Misc Folder.Elseway I'd do the same dropping 1 house and 1-2 vendors with the same advice. Hoping this will work

lol thats a good idea, a lot of people (well, i do so I assume a lot of people lol) do know to check the factory crates section under Misc for things like powerups etc.


I dont usually have a problem selling crates of stuff, they get snapped up pretty quick.

Don't erase the default name of the crate....just add the stats before or after the default name. It may make the name of the crate longer but at least people will be able to find it in the key word search.

On the bazaar under factory crates you can find crates of specific items. This was done sometime after Pub 16. It is quite easy nowto find factory crates of stimpacks, powerups or whatever on both the bazaar and the GVS. The interface is identical. There will befar more crates listed in GVS than on the bazaarfor most items.
