that is a Novice Droid engineer schematic, if you do not have Nov DE, you won't have the schem.

ok thanks, thats still weird though. They give us the schem for the customization kit at master art but then we can't build it without that 1 component. Ill just have to find a DE.

As a tip this is what I did and do for things I can't make. I have an equipement factory and when I do find one of the people I need to craft a part (droid storage thingy or even mark 3 proton missles) I give them the best resources for crafting the stuff, and I make sure I have large quantities of that resource. That way when I need one or if I feel like making a batch I crank out crates of the stuff with the resource I have. Droid storage things take 23 units of good OQ and CON metal. I used copper the last time I had a schematic made now I wish I could find more of that copper from over 6 months ago..lol.
Anyway my point is if you can't craft it and you don't want to have to always go looking for it get someone to make you a schematic and get some quality resources that way you can still be self sufficient. My latest schematic was some mark 3 proton paks (10) in crates of 25, 15 in total and boy do they punch holes in ships....lol 3k-6k damage. Hope this helps

A good general policy, however, quality doesn't matter fordroid storage units used in vehicle customization kits. You can just use any junk you've got laying around in large quantities with no effect on the end product.
The only resource that affects the quality of your vehicle customization kit is the metal used to make the kit itself. The conductivity of this metal will determine how many charges your kit has.
Additionally, something the previous poster didn't mention, as a courtesy you should always offer to pay the person who's making the schematic for you. Remember, not only are they giving up their time to help you out, but anything you make from your schematic is something that you're not buying from them. They craft to make money just like you.

Yes you are right I did forget to mention that, I usually get lost in a ramble and forget the most important part, that being, PAY YOUR CRAFTER...lol. I always offer something to someone that helps out and usually a decent amount...like what I would expect my time to be work I would pay that to them. So to recap sorry about leaving that out.
