I'm a new artisan to the game. I have a HUGE problem. My brand new medium sized Tatooine house says that I have200 items in it. I'm having a problem with the number of items in my house which is virtually empty. I keep my minerals in my crafting maching harvesters and in a few tool chests. When I try to drop a factory craft with 10 units of rifles, I keep getting a message that either "you can't place that in the container" and "your house is full"...which is freeking me out. I've seen ppl's medium sized houses that have so many things inside u can't walk in them almost.

Do items that u put in Toolchests, Amoires, Book Cases, etc still count for Total Items in your house?

How /where do artisans keep a stockpile of resources other than in a seperate house which takes up a slot that I need or in their home Vendor?? Can anyone please give me advice how to resolvethis. I've not received an answer from SOW Customer Service yet and it's been almost 24 hrs.

Items in containers (ie Back packs, tool chests, cabinets, Personal crafting stations, ect ) all count towards the building total inventory.

This is freeking retarded. Why even have the ability to put anything in bookcases, amoires, chests, tookchest, etc then?? What's the purpose of that? I tell you, this game just pisses me off all the more that I play it due to the hidden little quirks. I'm just venting steam and frustration, but SOE should know that crafters need to place their minerals somewhere, else we end up running all over the place everyday and hardly doing our profession.

I need advice how and where to put minerals, how much, etc. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Would you prefer to go back to how it used to be and if you wanted to put things anywhere other than on the floor you had to put them in backpacks floating in mid-air?
They're just decorative storage and nothing else. There was a time when you couldn't put anything in them.

If something like this annoys you so much, you should just save yourself the trouble and quit the game now because in the grand scheme of frustrating things about this game, this one doesn't even make the list.

When they uped the item count of small & medium houses to 200 they also fixed an old bug that allowed you to store more than the capacity of the house. Before this patch, you could put things into crafting station hoppers that would not count towards the house limit. So folks stored away and went decoration happy. When the patch went in, these houses still can hold beyond their limit but you can no longer drop additional items until you are below that level.

If you think about it, 200 items to decorate a place can make for one heck of a nice domicile. But in your case, since you are storing many resources, you're left with not much decorating options & end up with a minimalist decor.

2x Crafting Stations + 197 resources + 1x Cheap Cafe Chair = a full house that looks rather empty.

Get a storage vendor to hold all your resources etc on - items on here don't count towards the house limit. Make sure that you disable vendor search.

Voila - job done....so no more moaning now...

Oh and if you think that storing stuff as an artisan is hard - try being a DE - most of our stuff comes off in crates of 5....
