Just wanted to ask a simple question. I was novice carbineer/master artisan. untill i wanted to drop all my combat skills. now before i got missions paying up to 1800 credits on artisan terminal. now after i dropped all my combat classes i only get puny 800's or so. Why is combat skills a factor in the artisan missions? seems mucho stupid to me.

Combat skill is used for all kind of mission.
No, that's not very smart.

I can see the logic of needing combat skills for the advanced missions. When I really need to place some harvesters on something really rare that probably won't spawn again in my lifetime, and there is some warren getting in the way of putting down the harvesters, I really need to get those critters out of the way quickly. That means doing it myself. If I leave this sweet spot to go find a combat type to do the job for me, then someone else could likely kill off the varmints and put their harvesters down first. Some weapons skills, and a first-class weapon, are essential parts of surveying and placing harvesters.

lower is your combat skill --> lower is reward.
that's true for combat mission, scout mission, entertainer mission, faction mission and artisan mission. In fact, that's true for all missions.
