Yeah I've never placed harvesters on etheir planet but have seen them on both.

Definatly have to be able to do so on Yavin IV. I have seen some schematics that require Yaviniam xxx. (Can't remember what though.)

Harvesters can be placed on both worlds, but their terrain makes it difficult to find a spot (*espicially* on Dath). Keep trying. If necessary, save yourself some hassle and just use personals, they can be placed durn near anyplace.

This is true, terrain is probably your biggest problem. Yavin isn't so bad since there's a lot of relatively flat land by the river edges. Dath.. well.. with all the canyons, is a lot harder, but I know there are areas flat enough to place a harvester on.

Never placed one, but I've seen some harvester on Dathomir

Thanks for all the help. I have noticed that on Yavin I could place harvestors by the river with little to no problems but elsewhere is darn near impossible.

I guess I'll just have to go out to Dathomir and keep trying to find some good harvestor spots.

When I first began harvseting I would only drop them in Dath. I never had trouble finding an empty spot. I could drop four heavies two mediums without having to worry about the rest of the server crowding me. I found other players did the same because they hated spending their time looking for a good spot on corellia only to find 20 harvesters already dropped on the good spots.
