I've done my best to be an artisan...But I've had a long chain of bad luck...

1. I'm out surveying, I do imperial missions because I'm too weak to do any other ones. A crew of rebels blows up all THREE of my vehicles that I got as A GIFT! And even then no one on the server wants to help...

2. I ended up in a french server. I have good french, but the people are equally inept at giving me some hints...

3. No matter where I go I get lost...

Can someone here possibly aid a poor starting out artisan? Maybe a macro for surveying? Or just when I can make a speederbike (The one thing I want most right now!! >.< Just, something on those lines....

Please?

First....youre an artisan not a combat profession now is it?

Second....dont leave your bike out when youre in combat, theres no need for it anymore

Third....as stated above speeders at master artisan lvl

Fourth....surveying is near impossible to macro for, just make a rodian and set their action and mind regen rates high and leave them alone checking on them every 20 min. to make sure theyre ok

Fifth....artisan takes patience, and if you cant just sit there and survey/harvest and build stuff without trying to fight do yourself a favor

GO FOR A COMBAT PROFESSION AND DONT COMPLAIN ABOUT DYING....DUMBAZZ!

As the previous posters have said. Vehicles are Master Artisan only. However to disagree with KillerCommando you CAN be a combatant AND a crafter. I am a Master Tailor/Artisan and I'm about to Master something else off of the Artisan tree, thinking DE. I also have the points after a triple Master to go 0200 Riflewoman. I would strongly recommend picking up a weapon to go with your artisan abilities at least to start. After you Master whatever your crafting professon is drop the weapon or keep it, your choice. If you were on Intrepid I'd give you a landspeeder and advise on where to do your surveying. As far as the getting lost part? Well we all get lost sometimes. Just open your overhead map, select the closest city to you and get a waypoint. That way you always know where home is.

Master Tailor/Dancer/Politician with 52 skill points left over....any suggestions?

Dear Mr. "Commandokiller"

The veciles were shot when I was riding them. I then changed. Shot again. Changed. Shot again. With no vehicles, I was killed. Thank you

What server are you on?
I will almost always help out a polite noob on my server, Corbantis. It all stems back to my first game day when I found a VERY cool guy named Cope who very patiently took me out and showed me the ropes. I will do that for anyone who's not a jerk, and there are a lot of artisans likeme out there. You just have to find them.

Definitely room for combat as well as crafting. I am (polishes fingers on chest).....

Master Artisan

Master Architect

Scout 4/0/4/0

Creature Handler 0/3/0/4

Marksman 4/0/0/0

Novice Rifleman

I can provide anything that transports people, make any structure, pull up to two pets (max levels=31) and use a T21 battle rifle. I wear high Kinetic (70+) Composite Armor and can harvest on Any world. I currently have 19 harvesters on Lok, 6 on Dantooine and 9 on Corellia.

So, as that list illustrates, being a crafter does NOT mean you have to be vulnerable to the elements. There are a LOT of thigns that can eat me, but, I have learned how to avoid Those. The rest I deal with (swoops, meatlumps, cutthroats, mites, razorcats, pikets... etc) as I need to.

Good luck and keep trying

I am a master artisan as well as TKA 0022 Pistoleer 0020 and moving up in both those. I also hold Novice doc 1134. I have no problems with combat. I harvest and craft when I have limited time online then when I have a few hours I go level up a tree. I can supply all of the guys I run with with repair kits and pups for next to nothing. Some day I will have to give up MA and that will be a sad day but I still have at least 35 skill points I can drop before then. If I did MA only I would go nuts but its a nice break.
