When experimenting, is it better to do lots of little experimentation things, or one big block?

from what i can see theres no difference between them, just that if you chuck all your points on all at once you're more likely to get extreme results.. i.e have all points at "amazing success" or all points on "complete balls up".. also with this the percentage of failiure seems to raise disproportionately..

with more smaller ones it increases the odds of you getting something average..

is there a big guide to experimentation anywhere?

I have been using the risk meter on the right of the experimentation screen. As a Master Artisan I can do 3 or 4 points of experimentation at a time and still have 0 risk. I usually get great successes at that point and it reduces the amount of clicking I have to do. I do usually max out what ever I am experimenting on.

As a novice DE I have absolutely horrible risks (35%+) associated with just one point of experimentation.
