Thread: Harvester upkeep? The holocron is a LIAR!

I'm fairly new to being and artisan in SWG, and this is the first time I've had to manage any harversters. Well, I finally got my first set of harvesters set up. Now, when I go to the holocron and read up on how to obtain resources using harvesters, there's a sentence in there that is absolutely NOT true.
It says that once a harvester is placed, maintenence fees will be automatically deducted from my bank account. Well, I did a little math and figured out that it would take just over 10,000 credits a day to keep my harvesters running for 24 hours. Earlier today, at noon, I logged off with 29k in the bank. When I logged on a few minutes ago, I still had 29k in the bank, and my harvesters had suffered damage from not being maintained!!! Mind you, they already had their 24 hour power supply.
Now, is it too much to ask that the Holocron, the game's help system, not LIE to the player? I just suffered almost 5k in damages due to that misleading sentence.
Devs, PLEASE update this so that no one else does the same.
Oh, and make some way to get power back from harvesters. That way if something like this DOES happen, I can just dump the harvesters and get my 15 hours worth of power back out of each one.

Technicallynot a lie but a mistake. Devs being the smart guys they are have alloted this a priority, which is somewhere at the bottom of the page. Way under making NPC's stop dancing. Though I can understand your frustration.

It's being updated all the time and has some great new information. I check it like everyday. You should bring that up to a CSR. What did you lookup when you found that misinformation? I mean, what did you put in the search box?

Dude, I have seen many things the holocron has lied about. Also the load in screen used to lie a lot.

Just pay the repair costs, and redeed your harvester. The power stays in when you do that and you can use it later when you reseat your harvester on a fresh vein of resources.
