Well, right now I'm a wookiee on shadowfire named Elo. I want to go into crafting, maybe architect and bio-engineer or something....Well, should I keep my character or should I make a Mon Calamari guy? I heard those guys are good crafters. And well, aside from taht...Any tips for starting out or changing to an artisan?

Artisan can be done with any character. You do get points towards crafting as a Mon-cal but it is not 100% needed. I'm a Zabrak and I do pretty good. But I'm still trying to get my name out there. I'd say experiment with Artisan as a wookiee. I have seen wookiee artisans. And very popular and successful ones.

Do those bonuses do anything for the Mon Calamari? I tried being one before, but their low action pools made it too hard to survey for all my resources....

I honestly could not tell you. I never wanted to be a Mon-Cal =)

Oh...So, if I start off as an artisan, what you think would be a decent road to take? Like, how should I work up the money to buy enough harvesters and all and then enough tomaintain them?

Artisan missions can make you a fair amount of money, enough to support your harvesters until you start earning money with resources or crafted items. You can get started with resource harvesting using just personals to begin with, and work up to the mediums and then to the heavies.

Don't let the negative AFKophobes get you down. Play the game however you want.

Is the beta testing almost over for this game?

Migrate your HAM stats if you're going for a purely artisan template. Should put as much as you can intomind and its secondaries( willpower and focus). The debit side to make the migration can come out ofthe health stats, and a little from action. So in otherwords, Mind: high stats, Action med stats and Health low stats.
