There are bucketloads of other threads that ask the same question, though maybe not here But does it matter? It entirely depends on what it's used in. For droids, no it doesn't. For power core units, no it doesn't. For crafting stations, hell yeah it does, heavilly.

So it depends. Only experimentation can show what does and what doesn't.
