i seen av-21 powerplants and when i examined them it said variation of a generator turbine...i was just checking to make sure this is an av-21 powerplant and not someone trying to scam people off a vendor sale

Sounds like a scam since the examination of an AV-21 says it's for an AV-21.

The best way to find out is the AV-21 power plant can't be player made, so won't show a Made by: field.

I think this is a scam, people did this with the holocron phase too. Named a sqare die "Holocron" and when you examined it it said "Variation of: Chance Cube"

If it says "Variation of: ______" then it is a player made item that they renamed.

Yeah, any Loot items will not have an Item Creator field. If it does, its a scam. Please report the individual selling the item as these AH's need to be flayed alive...
