ok im not a newb, but i have a newb question 
what are the most BER, type of power harvesters, taht will be able to power my regular harvesters? and what exactly are all the types of power that normal heavy mineral harvesters take? (a fusion ion generator wont be able to output the power my heavies need will it?)

Power is power, doesn't matter what type.
Wind, solar and Fusions all make resources that are used to power anything that needs power. The higher the Potential Energy on the resource (above 500) the more power you will get out of the resource.
