Is there a way to get through the survey line fast? Any type of macro's? I'm not even sure how to do could some one give me some help that wouldbe great.

Well, there is no way to speed things up to get survey xp fast. But a lot of people use macro's to auto survey for them which I'm sure you can find in one of the messages here, but in order to use that macroyou have to be at your keyboard when running your macro because it's against the EULA to use macro's away from the keyboard

Find the highest concentration of any material you can. It would be great if you can get the % of concentration up into the 90's. Success in sampling is the fastest way to get surveying exp. I've gotten Surveying I - IV in one day.

The macro I use for sampling is:
/sample;
/pause 5;
/stand;
/sit;
/pause 30;
/stand;
/ui action toolbarSlotx;
Where 'x' is the slot you have the macro in. Infinate loop ahoy.

Are people allowed to use macros to Dance/Survey while they are AFK?
Answer:
At this time there is no policy against AFK macros as long as you are only using the macro system provided as part of the Star Wars Galaxies game. The use of 3rd party programs is against the End User License Agreement.

another thing you may want to consider when looking for the highest concentration of something is to look in towns this saves you from being agroed if you are just sampling for xp. when i first started i was a artisan/marksmen and kept gettingincaped or evenbecuase id find a good concentraion of something and then get ganked by some spawn. then one day somene said hey you know you can survey in town......

Look for chemicals. It's fairly common for concentrations of lube oil, polymer, fiberplast and the like to get into the 90s.

ACTUALLY, there's a way to do surveying VERY fast, but I'm sure it would be considered an exploit, so I won't mention it here. Whoever figured it out though, has to have NO life whatsoever. It's just something that nobody in their right mind would think of doing. lol

The problem I have with this macro is when he sits / stands he moves back little by little which eventually takes me out of the concentration area
