Hey all,
Been playing with fireworks (from a distance of course!) and got some nice 90% quality ones. Made a few of the Foreworks Packages too, and have added fireworks to make a show. Trouble is, I can't seem to launch the show. I've tried double clicking in my inventory, and selection Launch from the radial dial. Help!

It's been a very long time since i've used them, but if i remember correctly you need to put the fireworks package into your toolbar and launch it from there.

I have never figured these out so I stopped making them. But I would like to know myself.

Haven't played for 7months. I back now though. I use to make them but got bored as they are to much hassle. Sometimes they launch, sometimes not, I think they maybe bugged.

Try 'using' them. Or if there is an option to kneel then use them. When your character uses them they should kneel down, places them and then thats it. They go off.

Finally got it. I had the whole lot in a rucksac, so it wasn't going. Put them in my inventroy alone, linked it to the toolbar, and then pressed F10 and ran. Very pretty.

There's no special secret to launching a fireworks show... just bad coding. For some reason fireworks shows have always been problematic. This question will come up every few months and I always tell people the same thing: Sometimes the fireworks shows will work, sometimes they won't. There's been any number of explanations put forth as to how to get them to work, but no one has yet come up witha "trick" that allows them to work for everyone all the time.

My advice? Don't bother with the fireworks packages; they're a pain to load fireworks into anyway and you're limited to 20 effects per package. What I find most effective is to just take your regular fireworks, put them in your toolbar, and just start mashing buttons. Works everytime and allows you to put on a much longer program without an hour invested in loading individual fireworks into a package.

Good luck!

Yeah, fireworks shows are a bit touchy and a pain to use.

They are on my list for reworking in the Artisan Revamp, along with vehicles and etc.

Hey Guru...hopefully Artisan revamp includes making/repairing all vehicle types with right training right? Big Grin.

Fireworks packages are still not working for me. Does anyone have any tips to get them to fly? You don't need any particular requirement to set them off, right?
