At what level of skill can you make grenade powerups and what are they called? Are they simply ranged powerups like what you would use for other ranged weapons like pistols, etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No there is two specific Grenade powerups types

One is called grenade wiring kit, this always turns out 33 Max damage and 16 wound chance for me

Are grenade powerups not in the game anymore? I tried making some and they didn't work. So I destroyed a bunch of crates of them. What is up with this.

PS I tried using the search function, and well it don't work right now.
