Say you are looking for a specific mineral. You start up your surevey tool and go down the line looking at the minerals listed.

Do you have to actually be near the mineral for the name of that mineral to show up in your tool or if it is on the planet will it show up?

It disappeared because every week or so the devs, delete old resources and make new ones.

All resources on the planet show up in the survey tool. If it's not there, then it's not on that planet.

You know it brings me to this question: Howcome sometime some ressource are not in the list anymore??

I don't think you have to be in a zone where is this ressource to have it in the list. I stand where I marked a spot where I know there is 60% of Imad, but the Imad could not be selected in the list of my survey tool!! Why did it disapeared? This frustrate me so much...

Samething the other day with radioactive fuel...
