Being a newbie Artisan, I have a question about harvester destruction.

If your harvester is destroyed for some reason, do you get your slot back so you can re-set a new harvester? Or is it lost forever?

And while I'm on the general subject, if you use up all your lots on harvesters, does that mean you can't put down a house? -- or is that a different set of lots?

The way you "re-use" a harvester is by reclaiming the deed. To do that, you need to have at least 1500 credits in the maintenance pool when you destroy it. Touble is, when you rebuild the harvester, you will lose all credits and power that were in it when it was destroyed. It's almost never worth it to move a personal harvester. Just build a new one.

The ten-lot-limit applies to all structures, including houses.

To answer your first question, if you lose a harvester (either by destroying it explicitly or by simply letting it burn to the ground) you do get that slot back.

As for the second, I dunno. All my money is going into harvester upkeep. I can't afford a house!

As far as I understand, you have 10 lots. If you fill those lots up with harvesters, then no house. A house costs lots. A friend of mine and I are working together. I have 10 harvesters under my character and they have a few, but are keeping 6 lots open for a house. Some houses cost more lots, ie.: small house...less lots; large house....more lots. Hope this helps.
