I'm trying to get into practice mode because after reading the updates I can grind stuff in practice and not have them appear in my inventory for destruction, sounds good to me, but how do I get into practice mode?

Craft normally and when you get to the final window--the one where you name the item--there will be a "practice" checkbox.

I've put a check in the practice box, but it won't complete the process. In other words, I turn on practice mode and hit the finish button but nothing happens. I can't finish the item creation process until I uncheck the practice box and finish normally. Am I missing something?

It's obviously not supposed to work that way. Log out and back in. If the problem persists, /bug it.

When my Practice box is checked, my button doesn't say "Finish". It specifically says "Practice"

I believe mine also says "practice", sorry for the confusion. I think you get my point though, it won't complete the process and close the crafting window. I will try it again today and hope for the best. Practice seems like a great idea for profession.

Thanks

from what I understand it lets people grind without having to go into your inventory to destroy everthing you created just for XP........

i have had this problem too. I /bug'd it and was told "Make sure the check box is checked and then hit the button." I told them in the bug message that the box was checked. I finaly gave up and logged off for the night. I asked a CSR in the chat and he said "I am not aware of any problems with the practice command. Have you tried using a new Crafting tool?" WHat difference does that make, i thought? I went back in and tried it, still nothing. I went back to the chat and he said "I don't know how to help you." Typical sony, no testing and crappy support seem to be the par for this game.

They didn't tell you that you needed a Practice Crafting tool that you are able to make at Master Level? Yeah, you have to be Master Artisan before you can make a "practice" tool that allows your to practice.............it costs you 15$ a month and 7-8 updates before your advanced enough to even try it........

Sea is being sarcastic btw.

I have the same problem with the Practice option. The dialog just sits there when you hit "Practice." It does work on my other account though, so I know I am doing it correctly.

I tried the following to no avail

1. Deleted all crafting tools and bought new ones

2. Logged out and back in

3. Removed all items from my inventory

4. Flew to another city (via shuttle)

5. Bought more Artisan skills (thinking I needed a skill to practice)

6. Submitted a bug report
