I'm wondering about when or what level can an Artistan start experimenting because in the Primas guide, it does say I can experiment. But when I tried to do it at a public terminal (I was novice Artistan at the time), but it didn't work. Also, how do I initiate the experimentation window?

Right now I have Engineering I, Surveying I and I am partway up surveying II.

You can't experiment when using the "generic" crafting tool.

You need to use one of the specialized crafting tools AND be next to the station.

Correct, I have 2 questions for you why is your name trandoshandroidtech, yet u hae a pic of a mon cal.

And why did u buy the prima guide.

I am gonn buy it also but in a few month cause, then it will be discounted, and everyone know books for MMORPG are really a waste.

@Robofish Well, I thought the name sounded cool and as for the Mon Cal, eh, I like that one. I bought the Primas Strat Guide first because I wanted to see what the game was like and stuff before I bought it, plus it does have some useful information.

Also, if anybody knows, how do I bait a fishing pole and what do I bait it with?

You have to bait it with bait. It can be foraged by a scout (they sometimes sell it on the bazaar, or ask a scout to scrounge some up for ya, offer a couple hundred to make it worth her time ), or you can get chum bait from filleting fish.

Oh, and to bait the pole, just drag the bait to the fishing pole in your inventory. Then find some water (your odds are better where you can actually see fish in the water) equip the pole, and /fish.

Watch the Bobber (the little red and white sphere - if you can't see it at first do a small reel in) get a bite, tug, and watch the fight.

Seriously though, can you fish in any body of water? I baited my hook one time then didn't know what to do.
