Alright, so I have a question. I only recently started artisan. So, I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen or if it is a bug. That is why I'm asking. I've been making personal extractors recently and I hardly get any xp. Actually, I got ONE xp and then over the course of about two hours if went up maybe about 60. After that I started crafting bone armor again, so I'm not sure if I kept slowly collecting xp over time or not. Is this right? Should it really take hours to get all the xp for crafting an extractor? Also, how much xp do you generally get for crafting one?

they give archetect xp to build them... not general crafting xp. The xp you got over 2 hours was user xp probiably of things that you have sold before to other people... It's unrelated.

Well normally extractors give structure crafting xp(gcxp) on general crafting xp. So check and see if you have Structure crafting xp (now you know where it came from if you do ).

So, if I had to guess I'd say the sad tiny gcxp you saw was likely from uxp and not from the harvesters at all.

Alright thank you. That definately helped. One more question though. When I train in architect, is that xp for making the extractors going to be there? Or will I only get the xp if I make them once I'm a novice architect?

it should still be there, I think you can see it on your list of xp's right now. but the cap is very low so you might max it pretty fast.
