I know that most weaponsmiths can make other weapons really good, but something never fails to impress me than a well made CDEF. My best was a carbine:

Damage: 28-60

Wound Chance: 4.78

Attack Speed: 3.7

My last CDEF attempt was a pistol, 30-61dm, with a 3.3 speed. I couple that with my +32% powerups and I am good to go.

Mine was two nights ago. 30-62 damage with a powerup for +16.2% wound chance +10% speed. Sold it to a friend for 200 credits.

I put a couple of my CDEFs for sale the other day, just to test the market. I sold about 3 of them for 1500 a pop. I was pleasantly suprised. =]

My best right now as an intermediate skilled engineer is Bolt Strength: 28-57 ROF: 3.5.

My best So far has been 28/58 speed 3.5

No matter how I experimented it would not go higher. I did not get any amazing succeses and the metal I was using was an 830 conductivity copper.

I was half grinding and half playing to see what I could get.

I made a weapon crafter and experimented it up to +81% with the same copper. Eventually I will find some better resource and try for even higher but this has served me well so far..

I sell 31-63 3.3 second cdef's for 500 a pop. Just made a batch of 100 of each type yesterday

Just 200 credits? I could sell less for more when the game first came out...ts'a shame.
