Thread: Why dose radioacive ore show up as power but I cant use it?
I just made my frst harvestor and forgot I needed power so I bought 300 wind, and mined around 40 radioacitve ore. Cause I wanted to see its properites. When I went to put in power it said I had 340 that I could put in, so I moved the slider all the way and it okay, I got message "Isucient power", so I only selected 300, and hit okay the 300 wind went in. ThenI checked and he 40 radioctive was still showing that I can put it in. But it wont let me.
Is this a bug, or can I only use 1 power type at a time.
Because Even though I have a wind generator deed, I cant find A place to place it, and I hear they are very expensive. If I could just find radio active ore it would be easier.
So am I allowed to use it or is it showing up as a bug?
I used only radioactive ore for my power for a week straight, no problems. You can mass mine it with mineral harvesters, which are easier to place than wind harvesters (wind is generally better though).
I'm not Vass, so I can't tell you what's going on with your situation, but sounds like a bug latched onto you.
I dunno if this is a bug, so much as not being able to mix resources? I know that you can't add, say 2 copper, and 2 steel, if it needs 4 metal to craft an item, so maybe the same goes for energy.

That must be it, since I had more wind than radioactive I must have added the wind first, So I quess I'll start to mass mine radioactive since wind is expensive and I cant find a place to place my harvestor.
THis is gonna be cool, now I can state that I have a nuclear powered miner.
I have been using this very effectively. See my post "Ultimate guide to harvesting minerals efficiently " :
