Hi, there newbie artisan trying to make a name for himself on the new server!

Down to brass tacks, I've come across a bug that I'm certain has been found before, I've never come across it in my combat days on my old server.

When I survey every now and again the waypoint stick at the last place I was sampling. I cant delete the waypoint from my datapad and surveying wont help. Are there any work arounds for this, because up until now all I can do is logout and then back in which clears the bug, but its a bit inconvenient.

I don't know if it's a workaround, but what I do when this happens is keep my Survey device open and shrunk down as small as i can get it. When you survey the correct percentages will still show then i just run around aiming the arrow on the survey device at the highest percentage. You can turn by pushing the cursor to the left or right side of the screen. At this point I rely on radar alot more than normal since my reaction time will be reduced from the normal reticle. Also, you have to have it on autorun for this to work (I think).

I have done this also, but the eaiest way for me is usually just to lgo and then come right back. Always solves the problem.

BTW: You'll find that this may just be a side-effect of a larger bug that appears to be a problem with the Datapad. When this happens to me, I always find that I am unable to create any sort of waypoint in the datapad. At least, when I select create waypoint they don't show up, but after logging and coming back, they waypoints are there after all.

Yep, I remember setting a waypoint and not seeing it. So of course I tried again..and again..and again...relogged and found a ton of new Corellia waypoints. Now anytime the datapad acts wonky I relog, fixes it every time.

I also have sent a bug report regarding thw ay apoints not showing up, seem to be fixed tough.
