I was making a wind harvestor, seeing how I just got Eng III, I used one experiment point at a time and each time the failure rate was 0% when I used one point or 2% when I used 2. Well I had one point so I decided to pu it in effiecy, the failure rate was 0%, so I hit experiment and got a critical failure. How is it poissible to fail, let alone get a crit- failure when the failure chance is at 0%.

Something tells me that the crafting system needs alot of work.

In most RPG's (PnP and Online), there is always a chance for screwing things up, even if you have top notch skills.

D&D3rd: Roll a 1, and you miss/fail.
Shadowrun2nd: Roll all 1's, and you really mess things up.
Storyteller: Roll more 1's than successes, you really mess things up. Roll all 1's, and it's even worse.

Almost all RPG systems have potential for crit failures (or even just failures in general) even when your skills are maxed.

how about we get 200% of the XP when we critical fail? then we'd never get mad for getting them, be more like "woohoo" well, if you're grinding maybe.

Don't mind me i'm being an idiot.

Someone once said you still have like 2% chance of failing even at 0%. Doesn't make sense, but in order to put an end to it maybe add 1% fail chance .. just so if you fail, you are thinking "**edit** that 1%!!"

Instead of thinking this

"ok, zero... zero... yes... ok that didn't happen, i've just been crafting way too long.. what was that other thing I had to do... sleep, ugh forgot how to, guess i'll keep crafting"

The numbers can be a little misleading. If you look to the right of the item image there is a risk bar that rises everytime an experimentation point is used. The higher the bar gets the greater the chance of failure.
