Thread: Experimenting: Single Point or All points at once?
I've searched and searched and I can't seem to find a difinitive answer to this nagging question:
As an artisan, is it more effective/beneficial to use all my points at once? (shorter crafting time, greater chance of failure)
OR
Should I use my points individually (longer crafting time/ less chances of failure)
There may be more to it than I listing above, but I SINCERELY would like to know from someone who KNOWS (and not just has an OPINION)--I want facts!
I SINCERELY appreciate it!

One thing that will be affected is how long a factory run will take if you make a schematic. The length of time a factory run takes depends on the complexity (8 seconds * complexity * number of parts) which goes up by 1 with each click of the Run Experiment button.
Here's what I have experienced.
I would use them all at once unless you have penalty's over baout 50%. Once you get to master go ahead and use them all at once. I do and it works just fine.
The only expection to this is do not try to experiment on two different types of bonus' at the same time. You get major penalties for that.
However -- If I use 3 points at a time and get a Great success on all of them I can almost always max the bar out(sometimes with a few points left over as well)
Hope this helps.
oh ya, i forgot about that bahumat. the best thing to do is experiment with different amounts of points and try to find the most efficient way to use them on a particular item w/your particular materials
