Thread: Special event in sampling cost reduced by better tools?

I was sampling today and got one of those events that says I found a really high concentration pocket and would I like to try for it. It said it would cost me 300 action points.


I said yes, but it only deducted 239 action points, then 30 seconds later I got a 40 unit sample! I had just made myself a new survey tool at 93% efficiency. Anyone else seen this?

If you have higher stats it will reduce the cost of actions. Iam thinkings its willpower that determines it. Correct me if Iam wrong please.

Oh right, I 'd forgotten about that. Well it would be nice if the dialog told you what the real cost would be, but it's not a hug deal. It was a nice reward to get a 40-unit sample!
