Artisan Archive

Is there no Crafting XP awarded for constructing Musical Instruments? That appears to be the case with me. I have been craftingquite a fewto sell today, but my General Crafting XP has remained unchanged all day.

If anyone knows the definite answer on this, please feel free to enlighten me.

Look under musician exp. I think you get that when you make an insturment.

I was under the impression that you only got Crafting XP for items in the Artisan tree (ok I know that some items in the Artisan tree give other types of xp)

You get a type of medical xp if you make stim/med packs, you dont get any xp (I believe) for making camps or traps (but you get Scout xp when you use them) so I'm not suprised to hear you dont get Crafting xp for making instruments because IIRC you dont need any artisan skills to make them, just the resources and the tool(s)

As a musician when I learned Novice Artisan I didn't have any XP built up though I'd made a number of instruments.

If you take a scout and make camps and traps then later get Novice Artisan you will already have a good amount of XP.

So I don't think you get any for the instruments.

I haven't noticed getting musicianship XP for them either, but it's possible.
