Last night I got to Trapping 4 and I can build a trap that requires a polymer and I have no clue where to get that. Can someone please help? Thanks

Polymer can be found by surveying for chemicals. Polymer, like other resources, is subject to resource shift.

Simplest way is go the bazaar and see who's selling.

Or, if you're on Tarquinas on Rori, let me know, and I can sell you mountains of the stuff.
