Hey all,

Just plodding my way here and decided to ask how any of you got Apprentice Exp? Any suggestions would be a help. Thanks!

app xp comes from training other people in skills you know.

I learned another profession besides artisan for this exact reason. Taking up something like marksman or medic helps get those AP points pretty fast. Then again, now with vehicles coming in, there are a lot of people looking for artisan training...

Go to a starport and make a macro that yells everything you know, for example:

"Teaching marksman to master, artisan 4-0-0-4, scout 4-4-4-3, medic 1-1-1-4, pistoleer 0-0-1-0!"

be ready and observant, others will be training the same skills, especiaaly marksman/scout for all the bountyhunters, and they need 3 masters! I've also seen people offering up to 1000 credit to let them train you.

I made Master Artisan by doing what the DEvs intended. Instead of the Barker aprach (which didnt work) I walked up to Novice Artisans and said 'Excuse me <name>, I am training all ARtisan skills Free, do you need?' They all said yes or gimee a sec I'm grinding. Offer to train any other skills they need you have and you get the AP. Travel to big towns for this. If you train like 4 people in one place, move on. You get to see the planet/galaxy and meet new people. No need to pay them. They are happy for free training.

The approaching a Novice Artisan in game and offer training is a good idea. As long as you can actually find a Novice Artisan. I went around offering training to all Novice Artisans I could find...turns out they were Masters hiding out from training requests. I ended up doing the barking method. I made some App XP this way...until someone else came up and started offering to pay someone to let them train them. I broke down and offered 3000 per skill I trained. I am now a Master Artisan, as of last night, using this method.

best way is to buy it, hell i got 170k combat xp sitting around and i don't have novice marksman or scout so i could easily train 0 0 0 1 marksman a couple thousand times for infinite xp.

I have never had a problem with Apprentice xp. It is always maxed only a few days after I use any. All you have to do is keep your eyes open and look for people that are asking for training. I am always the first person to reply to anyone who needs training no matter what I am doing at that moment. I do less for the xp, more for helping peeps out. I started this game fairly quickly after launch, and could never find anyone to train me in anything. One CH even told me to 'go find a f'ing NPC trainer'. I never turn anyone down for training as a result!

1. Find a friend who is prepared to waste exp being retrained in a skill.

2. Hang around main towns & train anyone who asks.

That's how I did it.

I had the same experience Jendevi... I teach anyone who wants to be taught.. except for the guy that asked I give him a thousand credits and then teach him... Giving money the people that want to be taught, in my mind, ranks up with buying holocrons and not finding them yourself...

Anyways

Cheers
