i can launce fireworks show packs.

i know about placing them in the toolbar, and haveing free hands but they dont launce or do anything..

do i need a special skill to use it

No, they just seem a bit temperamental sometimes.

I found moving a short distance and trying again sometimes lets you launch them.

Just put some firework in it and double click. Maybe it won't work at that moment, but it worked for me.

Maybe it has to be night for it to work? Didn't try, but first time I tried (and didn't work) was during day-time, and other moment it was darker (in-game offcourse).

They consistently launch for me on the 13th, no 15th, well ususally by the 21st time I double click on it in my inventory. But one has never failed to launch as long as I was willing to click on it until it launched

Put in Tool Bar, Kneel, Hold down Right Mouse Key, Option will appear to Launch.
