In order to use a fusion generator, what type of resource am I looking for? Does it take any power, or just maintenance? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

You need to drop these onto a Radioactives spot, and they only take maintenance. A fusion generators sole purpose is to harvest radioactives for power.

Note that you can use a mineral harvestor to harvest radioactives, but you'll be using power to harvest what is in effect more power (ie; there is no point in using a mineral harvestor).

General Answers to FG's by the SQUID of Sunrunner.

  • Fusion Generators only harvest Radioactive Elements

  • Maintenance Cost is 60 credits / hour

  • Redeed cost is 3000 credits

  • Maximum BER is 14 (For all newly crafted generators.)

  • Footprint is about the same as a heavy harvester. (3x7???) I'll check this next time I put down a FG.

  • Radioactive Power has 7 types, Class 1-7. Each class has slightly better PE. The more PE above 500 the more power you have for your harvesters. I.E. if the PE of the resource = 500 then you have 1 unit of power per unit of resource. If the PE is 750 then you have 1.5 units of power per unit of resource (PE/500)*Units.

  • Class 6 and Class 7 generally are over 900 PE
