Thread: 3 and 4 mod powerups

Hey,
I was slaving over powerups tonight, both melee and ranged, and created quite a few 3 and 4 mod powerups like: Mind 32, Max damage 16, speed 7 for melee or Max 32, min 16 speed 8 mad range 3 for ranged. I was just wondering if this was ment to be so, or just a bug. I have never done it before tonight but it happened all night, and not even the right combos I wanted (Melee: Mind 32, max 16 min 8, and Ranged, Max 32, min 16, speed 8).

I just did a big session of power-ups. 5 mods was the most I got on a single power-up. I was surprised how often more than 2 mods popped up.

It's not a bug but you had good luck though. I think the limit is 5 modifiers to a single power up but I'm not certain.

The thing that did it for me was experimenting one point at a time, before I used to use as many points as it would let me. I've found doing a point at a time gives you more opportunities to get the extra mods. If you aren't all ready doing this, try it and see what you think. The 5 mod I got was one out of maybe 100+ tries, but I got the 3 mods fairly regularly. Finding a useful combination was another thing though

What powerup is that that gets 3-4-5 mods
I made about 20 couplers and the most I got was 3 mods. I was using 1000+OQ metal and 989+)Q chemical and all of them were experimented up to 99% I have never gotten 4 mods.

The 5 mod one turned out like this:
+32.83% Max Damage
+16.17% Max Range Attack Mod
+8.25% Health Cost
+5.94% Point Blank Attack Mod
+3.8658998 Min Damage

my theory is that it also depends on what type of resource you're using.
