Ok, As a master tailor, master architect, and master merchant... I cant master artisan. Not enough SP. So I am dependent on Master Artisans to make me those control units and GP modules, etc... But i can never find them! And they need to be in crates because some of the items I make require same serial numbers.
There is a big debate about master artisans wanting more stuff pr more certs because you arent making anough money. Well on my server (sunrunner),I dont see the product! You cant complain about making money if you dont make the product to begin with. I have even seen less amounts of vehicles. I can't find them. So It looks like i will just have to take it and drop master merchant and *gulp and cry* grind surveying... The horror! THE HORROR of grinding survey! NOOOOOOOO!
Anyway... my 2 cents.

I am on wanderhome server and nothing really moves or people only want to pay like 10 credits a unit on the control units. I am sorry but the excuse they are only artisan items does not work with me. You need them you buy them. Oh and I love the I will only buy a schematic for 1000 units off of you for 100 credits. Ok so you get a whole bunch of units and I get what 100 credits. Umm again no. Bikes, Swoops, and speeders require large amounts of resources. I am talking on a swoop 6400 steel and another 1600 units non ferrous I believe. I know the steel is right but I am sorry I am not putting those on a bazaar for a measly 6k credits. My shop is on Lok and not one wants to travel out there just to get a bike or swoop and they are made to order in the first place. I am not going to kill myself making things that people are not going to travel to buy or want to rip me off over. That is why you see less and less is we are tired of getting stepped on.

i don't generally keep crates of the components on vendors and other master artisans may be doing the same thing. i make them to order for the most part
set up a contract with someone and make it worth their while (something beyond the cost of resources)to make the crates for you if you don't want to drop merchant, helps out 2 people at once

well, on my merchant vendor, I cant keep vechs in stock, they are quite good money makers, i harvest all the resources, so they cost me less then 1 cpu and i charge 3 cpu for vechs. I make a great profit and people buy my vechs alot. I get alot of requests to make shematics for parts, since its not my resources im using, i just tell them to tip whatever for the schematic, its usually atleast 10K and oftentimes more then that. I will be stocking subparts eventualy and i expect them to sell well, there is another artisan with a vendor beside mine that makes alot of money selling those as well as tools and powerups. You can make a good amount of money off artisan if you try, i just think people are lazy, so what, you shop is on lok. if you were serious about making money you would put your items in a more traveled area. but you dont, so dont **edit** about not making money, because you arnt working at it.
